• Revolution Bike Service
  For those who have a bike from the Revolution Bike Library, the mechanics will be here from 9 - 10 am on Friday 15th February to do any maintenance that is required.
• Hockey Success
  A huge well done to the DJS hockey team in the Boys U11 In2Hockey tournament in the Humberside Round at Hymers College.
• Y6 Victorian topic
  As part of our Victorian topic we planned our very own Victorian experience. In order to make it authentic we read the schools log books from 150 years ago to find out what went on in our school.
• King Hrothgar
  4W were joined by a very special guest this week! We were joined by King Hrothgar of Denmark. We took it in turns to ask the King questions about his life and how he became so successful.
• Ghost Stories
  Year 6 have written some wonderful ghost story openings. The children in 6M were so absorbed in their writing they didn’t notice their photograph being taken!
• Working hard!
  This week our Nurture class have enjoyed sharing stories, writing letters and painting worry monsters.
• Football
  On Tuesday, Driffield Junior School played their first away game of the Humberside Schools Under 11 Cup, travelling to play Christopher Pickering PS at Sirius Academy West in East Hull.
• 4T Reading
  These children in 4T were busy reading traditional Viking stories.
• 6B
  6B children were responding to Miss Barnes’ questions in their English lesson this morning.
• Dodgeball
  On Monday night, our Dodgeball team became Driffield Cluster Champions in our annual tournament held at Driffield Leisure Centre.
