    • Rounders Team Success
      On Wednesday night, our Y6 Rounders Team were successful, beating Hutton Cranswick PS, Kilham PS and a mixed team made up of children from North Frodingham PS, Wetwang PS and Sledmere PS, to retain the School Games Level 1 Cluster event.

      Mrs Peacher, one of our lunchtime supervisors, has worked at Driffield Junior School for 25 years.

      Reading comics is great fun!
    • Netball match
      Our Year 5 and 6 netball team played their first matches on Thursday night against Middleton and Beswick.
    • There's lots happening!
      Y3 have been doing Smartie maths, been in an ambulance, visited a museum and made photo frames. Y4 are reading Beowulf to inspire their writing and acting skills.
    • Busy Week
      Reminder: What a busy week we have next week! Y6 sitting their SATS tests. Y3 out on their visits. Y4 having swimming lessons. Y5 cycle training
    • Tour de Yorkshire
      We really enjoyed waving our banners and flags as the Tour de Yorkshire came through our town. See the gallery and website for more photos.
    • Competition Time
      Homework competition. Can you design a front cover for your Year Group’s planner? Draw your design on an A5 sheet of paper Fill the sheet and colour it in.
    • Egg Rolling
      Lots of excitement in school this morning as children have a go at egg rolling.
    • Easter
      Even year 6 GPS revision has an Easter theme. Children in 6FS were writing active and passive sentences using pictures on the whiteboard as their focus. I am assured that an Easter egg hunt was to follow!
