    • Christmas Dinner
      Christmas Dinner Day On Friday 15th December DJS had their Christmas dinner day! The staff all got involved with helping to serve the children their lunch and everyone had a great time! Merry Christmas everyone!

      Our Hi-Vis shop opened this morning, with lots of children keen to buy the cost price stock.

      You may have seen news reports about inappropriate children’s videos on YouTube. We have put a fact sheet on our E safety page to help you keep your child safe.
    • Christmas Sheep Trail
      Reverend Marchment, from Driffield Methodist Church, joined our assembly this morning to introduce their Christmas Sheep Trail.
    • Pizza making
      3Ha have had a brilliant day making their own pizzas from scratch. Weighing and measuring their own dough, kneading and rolling plus topping their own pizzas they have all had a go at everything.
    • Children in Need Zumba
      All the children and staff joined in with a Zumba session to raise funds for Children in Need.
    • Christmas Box Appeal
      For the past three weeks, children at Driffield Junior School have been collecting for the Christmas Box appeal. Organised by the charity, The Samaritan's Purse, boxes are sent to children in need throughout the world in time for Christmas.
    • Anti-bullying Week
      As part of Anti-bullying Week 5W spent the day working with Konflux Theatre.
    • Remembrance Service
      Y5 held their Remembrance Service this morning for parents and then the whole school.
    • RE Display
      We have a very interesting new RE display in the main entrance.
