• Rounders Tournament
  Last night saw Driffield Junior School rounders teams win our annual Driffield Cluster Rounders Tournament held at DJS.
• Spelling Bee
  Following our spelling bee this week, our winners received their £5 gift voucher in assembly.
• Y6 Money Week
  6FR have started to concentrate on their Money week. This is where children think about the value of money, how to save and the importance of budgeting.
• Gardening Club
  The Gardening Club have been busy tidying up the school flower beds.
• Cycle4Life
  Four of our Year 6 children (and two members of staff) took on the challenge of cycling 18 miles from Driffield to Beverley yesterday, as part of Cycle4LifePH.
• Brownlee Triathlon
  24 children went with Mr Inns to Hymers College, Hull, to compete in a triathlon organised by the Brownlee Foundation.
• Dalby Forest
  5B enjoyed an amazing day in Dalby forest: the river depth was measured; its flow rate was recorded; its life was studied and maps were read! We even met some inquisitive youngsters.

  Congratulations to our victorious hockey team.
• Well Done Y6
  Well done to our year 6s who have completed their statutory tests this week. You have worked so hard, and we are all proud of the way you gave your best each day.
• Y3 Visit
  Year 3 have had an amazing time at Murton Park learning all about life during prehistoric times. The children had a go at lots of different activities that our ancient ancestors would have had to carry out in order to survive and thrive.
