• Whizz Bang Pop Science Club
  Today over 150 children were amazed at Whizz Bang Pop science club.
• Bread Making
  Year 5 are visiting Tesco to see how they make bread in their bakery before making their own.
• Snake Davies
  Recently we were paid a visit by the world-renowned multi-instrumentalist Snake Davis. In the morning, Snake talked to us about his life as a professional musician and how he has dedicated his life to improving his skills.

  Check out our new lunchtime club.
• Spelling Fun
  Lots of spelling practise going on this morning ahead of the Spelling Bee. 5B are busy learning their spellings in lots of fun ways: spelling out every letter while throwing a ball or even skipping every letter!
• Retirement
  We said thank you to Mrs Dearing this afternoon, who is retiring after 14 years working at the school.
• Christmas Dinner
  Christmas Dinner Day On Friday 15th December DJS had their Christmas dinner day! The staff all got involved with helping to serve the children their lunch and everyone had a great time! Merry Christmas everyone!
• Hi-Vis Sale
  Our Hi-Vis shop opened this morning, with lots of children keen to buy the cost price stock.

  Reverend Marchment, from Driffield Methodist Church, joined our assembly this morning to introduce their Christmas Sheep Trail.
