On Friday 20th June, Driffield Junior School will once again 'go bananas for Fairtrade.' Children are invited to either wear yellow or to wear something green, black or red to represent the colours of the Malawian flag.Children are asked to bring a donation of £1 to take part. Thanks to the generosity of Lidl, children will get a Fairtrade banana during the day.
Proceeds as usual will go to Mbedza Projects Support. This charity has various poverty alleviation projects underway in Malawi however our donations are always used to buy books for a library in a community centre in Songani. For more information click on the link below.
