The next Kids With Bricks After School Club at Driffield Junior School is starting after half term:
This club is open for Years 3-6 and there are a maximum of 25 spaces.
The first session starts on Wednesday 4th June and the last session will be Wednesday 9th July
As well as completing a range of exciting educational challenges, students will have the chance to work both individually and to work in teams.
As an added bit of fun, students from the club will also take part in a weekly inter-school competition where parents can vote for their favourites and points are won for the national leaderboard.
Previous topics have focused on “Space”, where we explored the first man in space, the first astronauts on the moon, space shuttles, and even built a model of the International Space Station! In January & February this year we are looking at Transport from around the world focusing on Helicopters, Gondolas, Bikes and Rickshaws- We need seven children as a minimum to proceed!
