Please read the below information regarding photography at our upcoming sports days. The attached image details the times and access arrangements onto site on the relevant days.
As our Sports Days approach, we kindly ask that you read through the policy below with regards to photographs and videos taken at these events.
Policy on the use of cameras/phones by parents to take or record images at school events:
Parents or family members will be welcome to take photos of (and where appropriate, film) their own children taking part in most school events, subject to the following guidelines, which the school expects all parents to follow.
In the case of all school events, parents/carers will make their own children the main focus of any photos and/or videos. If the member of staff leading the event has allowed parents to take images and has informed them of this, parents/carers should avoid disturbing others in the audience or distracting pupils when taking photos or recording videos. Parents/carers must ensure that any images and recordings taken at school events are exclusively for personal use and are not uploaded to the internet, posted on social networking sites or openly shared in any other way. Sharing images could place some children and families at risk. Parents/carers must adhere to any instructions given at the start of an event regarding taking images, and refrain from taking further photos and/or videos if and when requested to do so by a member of staff. Parents/carers are not allowed to take photographs/videos on the school site at any other time without gaining permission from the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
