On a bitterly cold evening, nearly 30 children represented DJS (picture atached) in our annual Mixed Tag Rugby Tournament held at Driffield Rugby Club.
12 teams took part in total, with teams playing a round robin style competition before fingers, toes, etc went numb!
Nafferton PS were crowned Champions - although our children put up a valient effort.
Many thanks to Driffield Rugby Club for hosting, Ali Mac and the referees for facilitating the event ... and Mrs Naylor for her help.
A big thanks also to the parents, grandparents and siblings for their support.
Next week sees our Y5 Football team play Stamford Bridge in the East Riding Schools Football League on Wednesday and a Cross Country (for all Year Groups) at Nafferton PS on Friday.
