County Cricket Final

What an experience!

On Thursday 22nd, our year 3/4 cricketers represented DJS at the county finals. The children had the amazing opportunity of playing at Headingley on the pitch. Even though they tried their best, worked extremely well as a team and showed good sportsmanship; we unfortuntaley didn't win. The children did have a fantastic experience and they even got to meet one of the professional players who kindly took photos and signed cetificates. I just wanted to say I was extremely proud of the cricket team, not only for their effort, but also their behaviour was brilliant all day.
