4G had a wonderful afternoon hearing all about St Affrique (Driffield's twin town in the south of France) from Mr Harris - Chair of the Driffield-St Affrique Twinning Association. Mr Harris also provided the children with the opportunity to sample 'un petit-dejeuner francais' (a French breakfast. He very generously donated a model of a 'cazelle' (traditional Aveyronnaise sheep hut) which had been presented to him by the French people of St Affrique on an exchange visit. This will be situated in the entrance area on display. Next week, the children are going to write a BIG thank you letter to Mr Harris for his interesting talk and for his immense kindness in providing the 'breakfast' and the lovely model.
