Big up a Book
Well done to all children who took part in 'Big up a Book' for world book day. We were amazed at the ingenuity, hard work and time that has gone into the work the children have produced. Some children may have had a lot of help, some very little, some children have used some amazing resources, some just a few colouring pencils but what has really impressed everyone is their enthusiasm for books and their willingness to have a go. Thank you to all parents who have supported their children in their creations - your hard work is much appreciated too!
Sharing and enjoying books is what World Book Day is about at Driffield Junior School. The work children have done will be celebrated in our gallery area near reception - the perfect place to share the love of books and stories that has been shown by the families of Driffield Junior School. Thank you once again and well done everyone.
