SCHOOL VISION

Our school works on the key principles of Caring, Learning, Sharing - Success for All.  We believe that, by abiding by these principles, we allow everyone in our school environment to feel happy and safe, and experience joy and success in their school life.

We believe in developing our partnerships with parents, carers and governors to ensure our school delivers the best education it possibly can, to allow all of the children that come here the opportunity to learn and achieve as highly as possible and be

successful in the next stage of their education, and in their life as an adult.

Outdoor learning in Year 5
Year 5 have been making the most of summer term using the outdoors for learning! They have used their maths skills at Dalby measuring river depth, art skills to create leaf rubbings, geography skills to orienteer and science skills to observe river wildlife. They have even started learning how to play rounders in their outdoor PE lessons.

Year 4 Djembe Drumming
4G are enjoying their djembe drumming lessons this half term. They are learning lots of rhythms to accompany ‘The Circle of Life’ soundtrack from ‘The Lion King’. At the end of the lesson, Eddie serenaded them once again with his amazing piano playing! Jamie Cullum eat your heart out!

East Riding Cricket Finals
On Friday, 10 cricketers from Year 6 travelled to Cottingham Cricket Club for the Dynamos East Riding Cricket Finals. The team played really well and should be very proud of the teamwork and sportsmanship they showed. They competed against 8 other schools from our region. After 4 matches they narrowly missed out on 2nd place, finishing third overall.
Well done everyone!
