SCHOOL VISION

Our school works on the key principles of Caring, Learning, Sharing - Success for All.  We believe that, by abiding by these principles, we allow everyone in our school environment to feel happy and safe, and experience joy and success in their school life.

We believe in developing our partnerships with parents, carers and governors to ensure our school delivers the best education it possibly can, to allow all of the children that come here the opportunity to learn and achieve as highly as possible and be

successful in the next stage of their education, and in their life as an adult.

It's free.  Simply go to the App Store or Google play.  Search for School Jotter 3 and download.  Then choose Driffield Junior School and enable notifications.

We urge all parents and anyone else in the community, who is interested in our school, to download the app.

Netball Tournament Update

Netball Tournament Update
Last night, girls who attend Netball Club on a Thursday evening after school took part in a Netball Tournament held at our very own DJS.

Our girls were split into 2 teams, who then played games against each other as well as against the other two competing schools, Burton Agnes and Hutton Cranswick.

Some good netball (after only two training sessions) was played, with the girls enjoying their experience.  This was the first time some of the girls had represented the school in any form of sport.

Well done to all the girls and many thanks to Mrs Travers for timekeeping and the other parents/grandparents for their support.

Pictured are our netballers who played on the evening.

Also a School and Community Practitioner from Family help there for anyone looking for support and guidance.
