SCHOOL VISION

Our school works on the key principles of Caring, Learning, Sharing - Success for All.  We believe that, by abiding by these principles, we allow everyone in our school environment to feel happy and safe, and experience joy and success in their school life.

We believe in developing our partnerships with parents, carers and governors to ensure our school delivers the best education it possibly can, to allow all of the children that come here the opportunity to learn and achieve as highly as possible and be

successful in the next stage of their education, and in their life as an adult.

A Christmas Carol performance

We were delighted to present our festive school production of A Christmas Carol, performed by pupils from Years 3 to 6, with the school choir also playing a key role in the show.

The much-loved Charles Dickens classic was brought to life through a week of performances on 8th (twice), 9th and 12th December, showcasing the hard work, enthusiasm and talent of pupils across the school. From dramatic storytelling to memorable songs performed by the choir, the production captured the true spirit of Christmas.

Scooters still wanted!
16/12/2025 10:22 AM

Reminder

We are looking for scooters in good working order to enhance our playtime activities for the children. We are aware that Father Christmas might be on the way to replace some scooters so we would be delighted to accept any old ones (drop off at main reception).

Your generous donations will really help us to improve our offering at playtime. Thanks so much.

Year 5 Borrowed the Moon!

Year 5 Borrowed the Moon!
Last Monday, soil and rock samples, which were brought back from the Lunar missions in the 70s, arrived in school. The children predicted what they thought the surface of the moon would look like before closely studying the samples from the Moon's surface. Despite the Moon looking white, Year 5 were surprised to find that a lot of the soil is black.
As part of their work as Space Scientists, Year 5 also studied a number of rock specimens, made careful observations and took measurements. Using a flow diagram and answering a series of questions they were able to identify which of the samples were actually meteorites.
